"Located from 5-10 mins. walk from Essen Hbf. Very quiet and staff is helpful. Free one glass of beer or coke is available at the time of check-in. If you want to go shopping, go walk for 10 mins. and then you'll reach Limbecker Platz. There's REWE (supermarket) and you can grab some German sweets for gifts. :)"

The spiral staircase to the loft was extremely steep and flimsy. One of the steps was broken and a heavier person could easily fall through. I pointed this out but it was never fixed during our stay. "Wonderful food and an outstanding location! Noise did carry from the plaza which is to be expected so made our nights a bit interrupted. Incredible food and breakfast puts all other continental breakfasts anywhere to shame. "
