Manor Lodge, Walberswick

Manor Lodge is perfectly suited to a family holiday in Walberswick. A really splendid holiday house with a superb garden in the heart of the village. The house is very warm and comfortable all year round and has a lovely log burner in the sitting room, perfect for the colder months! During the summer months you will find the pretty garden and terrace the perfect place to have a BBQ and dine outside with the garden furniture.

This fantastic family holiday home has the following layout:
Downstairs:
Kitchen / dining room
Sitting room with woodburner
Double bedroom
Utility room
Shower room

Upstairs:
Master bedroom
Family bathroom
Double bunkbed room

Outside:
Large garden
BBQ Patio area
Off street parking

This delightful coastal village is a popular holiday destination for those who wish to experience Walberswick's unspoilt dunes, its beach and its charm.

Within Walberswick there are tea rooms, restaurants, two public houses, an art gallery, village shop, original crafts and gift shops. Fresh fish can be bought from the harbour huts on the Southwold side of the River Blyth, which may be crossed by pedestrians and cyclists either by the bailey bridge or the foot ferry that runs during the summer months.

A wide variety of flora and fauna makes Walberswick popular with ramblers and visitors alike. A major attraction for children in summer is crabbing by the harbour, where bridges and river banks become crammed with buckets, lines – and foul smelling bait! From 1980 to 2010 Walberswick annually hosted the British Open Crabbing Championship. Over the years this annual family event has raised useful funds for various charities and good causes, both local and national, while participants enjoyed the delights of this simple outdoor pleasure.

Please note, should government restrictions come into force that don't allow you to travel we will issue a full refund and disregard the cancellation policy.

Simply wonderful!
Manor Lodge provided us and our four legged friends with the perfect holiday house for our first visit to Suffolk. Walberswick is absolutely delightful and with an excellent deli and very useful Co-op within a very quick walk we wanted for nothing. The house was well equipped with generously sized rooms and the secure garden was perfect for our dogs. We very much hope to return!

Nice old house in great location
Lovely big house and really good garden. Some cranky kitchen appliances just add to the character and the location is superb...
