"We stayed at the Log House for a family wedding weekend. It served the purpose and was close to the venue. The kitchen was well-stocked for multiple cooks to prepare a family dinner. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor porches and visits from the adorable house cat Grey. We had family members that were allergic to the cat so she politely stayed outside. The owner Floyd was attentive to our messages and needs. Overall it was a good experience."

"Very nice and very cozy. Functional, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, not everything but enough to make due. No need to make calls during the week because something was not working or had broke. Fall colors where peak, playing golf on the Royal was superb, and kayaking on Lake of the Clouds magical. Would stay again."

"The Cabbage was so cute!!! We enjoyed our stay. The only things that could have made it better was a washer/dryer (I understand the space limitations) and a blind on the back door. Jeri Jo was a wonderful hostess! "

"Yes, the property is small but there is room outside to enjoy the view. One big cavet .. in my opinion, this is a summer property. The floor is concrete and there is no central heading. The owner has a few rugs on the floor and a large space heater. It takes a good hour to heat the space. We left early as we were there in mid-October. The person who cleans it is lovely and very communicative. We would go again only in summer. "

"The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again."

"We LOVED this cottage.. it really had everything we would need. It was fully supplied ( more then we expected) and the ammenities were top notch.. I liked the history of the cottage book that was included as well.. the host was considerate to leave small notes all over on how to use and operate things and that was helpful as well.. we would most certainly book again :) thank you Angie"

"My wife and I booked the house for an anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. It is in a very quite and peaceful area and is a great house for relaxing in. Getting to enjoy the wildlife in the backyard while just standing in the kitchen as well as the wildlife seen on the short walk to the lake was a plus. Getting to see the fall colors starting to show as great as well. The screened in porch is a great place for some outside relaxing that still has light if you want to be out there...

Additionally, having access to the kayaks and life jackets was fantastic. And the neighborhood cats (Jack Jack & Tig) were a big hit with our son!"

"This is a beautiful home, the pictures don't do it justice. This home has everything you need to have a great vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked, washer and dryer also available. We also enjoyed the pontoon, fire pit (wood provided) with plenty of chairs provided. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a lake getaway!"

"This vrbo was exactly what we were looking for, for a long weekend with our family. We did a day at the Soaring Eagle waterpark with our kids. We didn't want to stay at the hotel, so this was a great option to relax and have our own space. The kids absolutely loved all of the board games, the pacman arcade game, and the lego table! We had our coffee by the river in the morning and roasted marshmallows by the bonfire at night. Great stay! "

"Being Black in a predominantly white community our Stay was pleasant, great view, fishing and atmosphere. Most neighbors were welcoming however stayed to themselves. Local Businesses were very friendly and welcoming. Owners were excellent host as well. Will love to comeback again one day."

"The view was perfect and the house was the perfect accommodation for this group. The sprawling lawn was a nice bonus for playing games and getting sun. My suggestion would be to get more rugs for the deck as that deck gets way to hot and put in the ladder for use because it’s hard to get in and out of the river. It was nice that the boat had everything we needed in the kitchen. My only concern was how dusty it was. Overall great spot to go with a large group and friends!"
