"Our little 3 night get away to Manhattan Beach was just what we needed. The restaurant was open on Sunday, but was closed on Monday and Tuesday due to this being a slower time of year for them. We did have wonderful weather, the tree colors were just starting to turn which made a drive through Pillsbury State Park very enjoyable."

"We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!"

The weather was fantastic for September as we visited the many places of our youth and met with friends still in the area. "We had a wonderful time at White Pine Cottage. The cottage was very clean and decorated like a true lake cabin. Very charming! The pantry was well stocked with cooking oils and spices so cooking was fun. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a real plus. The outdoor area was very nice; we especially enjoyed building a fire in the firepit and making s’mores. The lake was clear and very swimmable. Thank you so much for providing a lovely place for our family to stay."
