"This was a long term stay of 2 months and I couldn’t have asked for much more. The host was very responsive and helpful with any needs and questions I had. The house is in great shape and I will never forget those sunset views! The neighborhood is 15-20 minutes from Lufkin, but there are dollar general stores just a couple minutes away. Highly recommend for long and short term trips!"

"The Lumberjack Hideaway is a gem! For me being an alumni the fact that it shares a parking lot with Butcher Boys is a super bonus! That was in no way an issue for parking at the house, there is a driveway for the house. The house is very accommodating with 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. "We reached out to the host around 5pm on the day we were to arrive (I received a confirmation email of my booking) to get info on how to get into the house and we were told the house was double booked and they were sorry but we didn’t have a place to stay. So we were there needing a place to stay with nothing. Extremely disappointed!! Second time this has happened with VRBO!! Horrible situation for anyone! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!"
