Peaceful lovely farmhouse
Loved this home! Beautifully designed and equipped, peaceful serene location only 20 minutes from Red Lodge, cool Montana town. Views are awesome, mountains, hills, cows grazing, pond with friendly talkative ducks. Owner and property manager are terrific hosts. We'll be back.

Second year staying for our anniversary. Love the remote peaceful location. Surrounding house are cattle so if you love the sound of cows mooing this is the place for you. Property manager/owner were very understanding with a few things that was greatly appreciated.

5 stars is NOT enough!
We had the most incredible stay at this charming home only a short distance from downtown Red Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were utterly captivated by the breathtaking views of rolling green hills that stretched as far as the eye could see. The scenery was straight out of a postcard. The property's allure was further heightened by cows peacefully grazing in the lush fields. One of our favorite features of this home was the delightful pond adorned with the owner’s beloved ducks, we had the best time feeding them, they were so friendly. We spent hours on the expansive porch sipping morning coffee to unwinding with a glass of wine while enjoying the pink sunsets behind the rolling hills. Inside, the charm continued with a thoughtfully decorated interior that exuded comfort and warmth and was impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-appointed, so much so, we decided to eat in rather than eat out! We found a local rancher to purchase steaks and we grilled out followed by a night by the fire pit at the pond under the stars. The hosts were accommodating, making sure every detail was taken care of to ensure a seamless and memorable stay. They even provided propane for the grill, wood for the fire pit, and food for the ducks! Pride of ownership in every detail. We left with a heart full of gratitude for the opportunity to experience such a magical place. Without a doubt, we will be returning to this idyllic property when we visit our son.

Perfect for a Tippet Rise Weekend
A beautiful, away-from-it-all place to relax. Four of us again this year used the house as base camp for a weekend of concerts at Tippet Rise. A great kitchen to cook in, then enjoy a peaceful dinner as the sun goes down. Clean, comfortable, responsive owner.

Another amazing stay here! Everything is breathtaking, beautiful, and so relaxing. Hosts go above and beyond to make the stay is comfortable and everything needed is right there. The drive from Red Lodge is 20 min but worth the drive. Our daughter graduated and got engaged on this trip so this place will always be a favorite in our hearts. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things…
We absolutely adored this darling and cozy farmhouse! After a stressful week, we wanted to get away from it all, and our farmhouse stay was just what we needed. Everything from top to bottom is great about this home! The beds are super comfy, home well stocked, cute ducks and donkeys with a pond and fire pit. We enjoyed spending quality family time at this property. The interior design and decor is magazine worthy! Truly an authentic Montana farm life rental property amongst the rolling hills with big Mountain View’s… yet still close to Red Lodge and the Beartooth Highway and mountain range… close to dining, beautiful drives and hikes! Sue was great, too! We will be back!

Amazing homestead with gorgeous views
We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect!- the cleanliness, organization, the attention to detail, the bunkhouse by the pond, ducks :-), fire pit, outdoor shower, front porch swing, and amazing views! Anything we could possibly need was there for us. A 20 min drive from Red Lodge but so worth it! If we get the chance, we will definitely come back and stay here. Thank you Sue and Brandy!!

Peaceful rural home near the Beartooths
We loved everything about the comfortable main house and tiny house on the pond, with beautiful views over the rolling hills to the mountains. The kitchen was more fully equipped than any place we have ever stayed, lovely porch for reading/relaxing/dining, good beds, sitting area and firepit at the pond, friendly ducks. Our 21-month-old grandson was completely enthralled with the place! Good base for hiking, though this entails some driving to access trails. Highly recommended.

My favorite house rental ever!
We were driving across country and stayed here one night. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The setting is remarkable: views of the mountains and rolling hills and that wonderful Montana sky. We made dinner and breakfast in the well-stocked kitchen, did a load of laundry, and left recharged for more driving. As a bonus, there is the most social group of ducks I have ever met on the property. I hope to come back here someday and spend more time. Thank you to the hosts!

A wonderful place
Sue was so incredibly kind and accommodating. The place itself is a dream with mountains all around! I got ready here for my wedding and it was so relaxed and enjoyable all around with no issues with checking in and getting there- it was reliving to know there is someone to contact if anything did arise! Thank you so much!

There were 5 family members ages 77 to 12. We all loved it and wished we could have stayed longer.
Everything was beautiful and immaculate. A true Montana ranch but modern. The girls loved outdoor shower. The tent was very comfortable. The ride over bear tooth pass from Yellowstone was white knuckle but magnificent

This was glamping at its finest!
My husband, son, daughter, and I had an incredible stay! My son loved the fishing and my daughter loved petting the horses. Our stay was comfortable, cozy, and the owner had every detail thought out! We stayed on our way to Yellowstone NP (entering through the Beartooth mountains), but loved this place so much so we made a point to stay on our way home! We fell in love with the peacefulness, mountain views, and sounds of the cows in the distance. We visited Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP on our vacation with many wonderful hikes and adventures, but this glamping experience was one of our highlights!

Amazing, relaxing hideaway
This was an absolutely amazing place to stay. I highly recommend it and Sue was a wonderful host. Even if you're not 100% sold on 'glamping' it was by far the most relaxing and lovely weekend I have had in a long time. The little cabin is situated on a section of the property down from the main house with it's own power, water, outdoor shower, and additional tent. There is a lovely little pond out in front and a great fire pit. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need (silverware, plates, coffee, microwave, and mini-fridge) and there is a grill outside for further cooking. In terms of the road, it is a mixture of dirt and gravel but I had a tiny sedan and it was just fine. In general, everything was clean, well taken care of and absolutely lovely. Horses in the pasture in the back and a sun shining every morning were perfect ways for me to spend a weekend. The outdoor shower was lovely and easy to use. If I am back in the area, I would hands down stay in this place again.

So quiet & peaceful!
We loved our stay at this little oasis & hope to return next year! The drive in on the dirt road, while a bit bumpy in spots, was easily navigated by car. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch which has an umbrella to shade the sun. A family of 8 ducks flew in one morning, spent the day on the pond, then flew out after sunset. We also watched a muskrat and several turtles in the pond and heard coyotes howling one night while sitting by the fire. We appreciated the welcome snacks, especially the wine, and found the tiny house to be very clean and well kept. The compost toilet was so easy to use and had no odor at all. The outdoor shower (hand-held, wall mount shower massage!) was a fun experience and the wooden walkway leading to it was a nice addition. It is the quietest place we've slept in years and the sunsets were awesome. To top it all off, Sue is such a gracious and friendly host!
