"The property has a lot of potential as it is located in a beautiful site, however, there are several outdated things that should be fixed/replaced. The place was not very clean at all, it was dusty with dirty floors. The hot tub was working as expected except that it looks like the water had not been treated with the necessary chemicals and it had a foul smell (standing water). "Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. "

"This place was beautiful. The house was clean and very up to date. The surroundings were beautiful and you could see the river from the house. Nice view. All the amenities were good. The only thing we were disappointed about was that we couldn't use the fireplace. But I kind of understand that it's probably due to insurance reasons. I think a gas fire pit on the porch would be a nice addition."

"The house was exactly as described. The owner was extremely communicative and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We found this to be one of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in. We appreciated all the extra touches like popcorn, bottled water and candies to greet us. The location was convenient to everything and the hot tub was a bonus! We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. "
