"Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. Would recommend...

"House was exactly as presented. Plenty of room nice patios and outside grill, garden and terrace. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were adequate but a bit firm. Loved the beaches and meeting local residents of this fun small town of Figueira."

"The beds were comfortable, and showers were also good. Do bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The washing machine, drying lines on the patio, iron and ironing board were helpful. Though we didn't cook, the kitchen was equipped with salt & pepper, oil and vinegar and a few other spices. It is close to so many great local shops, restaurants, bars and beaches, yet is only a short drive away from other scenic locations. We would love to visit and stay again!"

"I left right away, stayed in hotel. House was misrepresented. Not large house, but apt, no ocean view, no TV, no 2nd bathroom, not beach front... 20 min away. Heavy musty smell which was unbearable, he said "I have no mold" his word, not mine. Entrance to place was not the front door, but through like a garage which was filled with junk,hoses,stuff. Door to apt was covered in turf, did not lock properly, did not open all the way, he told me don't worry, it's safe here. There's a 2nd apt. in this...
