"The cabin is pretty good, about what I would expect for the price point. It is spacious and clean enough (not spotless). It worked just fine for a family of four hiking enthusiasts. However, it would NOT sleep 8 people. The living room furniture is terribly uncomfortable. The master bed needs a platform or box spring to raise it to a reasonable height. The owner was in communication with us and was so very sweet about making sure we had everything we needed. A tornado had gone through less than a week prior to us arriving took down trees, boat house and dock but everything was cleaned up prior to our arrival. "Well maintained, and elevated style made this stay one to return too! The kids fished blue gill, bass, sunfish in stocked pond. Caught bait in the creek. Spacious bedrooms with upscale linens. We took full advantage of the hot tub and long naps in the swinging porch bed. The kitchen was well stocked for many meals cooked at home. Loved all the windows and listening to the creek.
