The owners, Simonetta and Giovanni, were a delight! We stayed for 5 days, and took day trips to towns and villages they recommended throughout the Tuscan region. One of the highlights at the property, was a pasta making dinner with them. Simonetta was our chef, and Giovanni, our sommelier. We leaned how to make pasta from scratch, and how to properly drink wine. (Yes, there is a right way to do it!) They make their own wine from their sprawling vineyard, ... and extra virgin olive oil too! We consumed plenty of both during our stay and shipped some back to the states to enjoy!
