"Room was very old And was leaking water all around the room Bathroom was dirty But the outside pool and outdoor was nice "

"Lovely hotel in a great setting with very comfortable rooms . My only criticism would be the lack of interest at breakfast from the staff who were more interested in chatting or being on their phones than paying attention to customers which was a real shame as the food was lovely "

"Lovely place to stay with great views and trails to walk away from the accommodation area. Lots of birds and butterflies to see. Good breakfast - especially the yogurt and home made granola. Evening meals also good- with added bonus of local beer on tap. Staff friendly and helpful."

"I had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and secure, the wifi, air conditioning, shower, all worked great. The staff was super- friendly and helpful. They were patient with my awful Spanish and were able to switch to English when needed. Even the restaurant had good food. Not a luxery resort, but perfectably servicable at a good price. Puntarenas isn't the "nicest" town per se but it is interesting and authentic and this hotel is very good."
