"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. "I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "

"Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"Mariposa Villa was very clean, all systems and appliances were working well, and the property manager attended to our needs very responsively. Our stay was restful and restaurants nearby were fantastic. "If you are a large family this is a great place. Great views from patio close to beaches, town and all the activities you want without a 3hr drive. Natalia was so easy to work with. We used her to book all our activities and she did not disappoint. They all where awesome and worth the money. Highly recommend the Chef service. Can’t say enough!
