This hotel is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous - breathtaking views and an amazing infinity pool. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We loved that breakfast was included and they were generous with portions. As far as service, I need to give Joan and Francesca a HUGE shoutout. They were so amazing, accommodating, solutions oriented and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. At the pool, both Ty and Jeff were so helpful and great. Outside of that, this hotel has a lot of work to do service wise. For the price, location and ambiance, we expected 10/10 service. I don’t think the issue is the actual people themselves - I think there is a leadership issue. The restaurant and pool service were super slow. We ended up walking with our luggage twice because the bellman didn’t come. Room service took 1.5 hours for a salad. Twice they ran out of Diet Coke. I also was able to meet the GM - I had some questions about the music by the pool - he went on a long diatribe about how they purposely don’t “play Mary j Blige or serve conch on their menu” because that’s not the vibe they are going for. He was very pretentious and stuffy - my advice to him would be to 1) listen to feedback from your guests, 2) embrace the incredible culture of Turks and 3) take better care of your staff. So - all in all, 4/5 stars because we LOVED the hotel itself. With better leadership and an open mind to listen to feedback from guests, service will improve, and this will be the best hotel in Turks.
