Sandpiper 133B - updated and renovated studio in Princeville

Clean, modern, studio with kitchenette. Completely renovated December 2018 - everything is new including floors, cabinets, interior paint, shower, vanity, fixtures, ceiling fan, furniture...

There is a comfortable queen bed and an air mattress (twin or queen) can be provided for extra guests.

Conveniently located in Princeville so you are close to shopping, dining, coffee, golf, beaches, hiking and more. The resort is quiet and has a pool, hot tub and BBQs on site.

There is no stove or oven but there is coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, electric skillet and electric grill for your use. There is no laundry facility but fresh towels and linens can be provided at no additional charge.

We are doing the finishing touches on the condo - still need to add pictures to walls, lamps, rugs and patio furniture. Will update pics when it’s complete in early Jan 2019.

It was a very clean condo. The only downside was the neighbors dryer vent blew out on our lanai. But we were there for a month so it seemed like someone was doing laundry everyday. It were not out and about all the time since we stayed so long so that was the only downside. Other than that it was very nice.

Clean, cute little place
Property was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, a mini fridge for any drinks or leftover food, comfy bed, and a nice lanai. Perfect spot for 1 or 2 people looking for a place in Princeville. Super close to lots of amazing spots on Kauai and a beautiful drive to some of the further spots. Robyn was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond when I reached out with a question after check in. Great stay.

PERFECT, as advertised!
Last minute trip and lucky (for us) the MOST COMMUNICATIVE host we've come across on VRBO! Host responded quickly to every (too many?) questions including last minute questions about parking and WiFi. This was a small space, but perfect for two grandparents and the grandchild. The only thing I'll add is that parking is limited throughout Princeville and particularly limited along the beachfront--NOT unique to this listing. Plenty of spectacular beach options from Kapaa on the east coast through Haena along the north shore.

Great location, wish there was air conditioning, but the two fans provided were a blessing. Shower was nice, no stove, but microwave wired well, fridge could be colder, needs to be defrosted. Would recommend!

Birthday getaway
The property and Princeville area is really beautiful and was a great home base for the duration of our trip. The place is a little small for three people but we definitely made it work. Robyn was very responsive whenever we had a question which was appreciated. I also liked that she had the beach chairs which proved to be very handy for us. Overall I would recommend.

Great affordable location
Neighborhood is right off the main road and is super easy to find. Two available parking lots both conveniently located near the unit and we'll lit at night. The room is small but perfect for just two people looking for a quick stay. There is no AC but there are two floor fans and a nice cross breeze. We visited in September and we were comfortable the whole time. Kauai is all about being outside and this location was perfect for the excursions we had planned. I would for sure rent this space again in future visits!

We enjoyed the patio area and the coolers and boogie boards. The place needs a little hominess with pictures on the walls. The key on the door was very touchy and hard to open. At least 1 coffee package for each day we stayed would have been nice.

Perfect girls trip getaway
Stayed for a week with a best friend and her daughter to explore Kauai. This is the perfect spot for folks looking to not break the bank at a property they'll barely spend any time at anyways. Comfortable bed and air mattress, nice bathroom and shower, lovely balcony for meals eaten at the condo. There is an electric cooking pot-type thing (not sure what it's called) that we fried some eggs in for breakfast. The one thing missing was a spatula (or any cooking utensil) but we made it work with a bamboo spatula we bought locally. Be aware there's no hot plate, I might bring one next time just to boil water for tea. Nice mini fridge. No AC was no problem at all with the fans and nice breeze. Feels very private and neighbors were quiet and respectful. Less than 10 minute drive to Hanalei and Anini beaches. Overall a great experience and would love to come rent it for a month or two and work from here (nice fast wifi!)

Great place in an awesome location!
We absolutely loved staying at the property! It was very clean! It was the perfect size for my husband and I. The bathroom was very nice- my only complaint was there were not enough wash cloths left (but I find this is the case with all VRBO type places). There were delicious little treats left and a couple drinks in the fridge! Such a nice touch! The property is within walking distance to the Princeville shopping center so we would walk to get dinner and breakfast, which we loved doing! They also leave some Beach chairs which was awesome! Seriously you can’t go wrong with booking this place! Our stay was absolutely amazing and we are so sad to leave! We will definitely be back!

Great location and clean studio
We like the neighborhood of Princeville, and this studio is located in the center, which is close to everywhere. One thing I didn't give a full star is the host didn't respond to my message and call about the parking spot at all. We had to park further away where it doesn't have a reserved sign, but we had a permit so not sure if the parking is assigned or not. This should be listed clearly in the instruction. Overall, it is a nice place for a couple who don't cook and just want a clean place to stay.

Just what we needed
The space was just what we needed for not spending much time there. It has everything you need. The space could have had a better cleaning. I noticed chunks of dried toothpaste throughout the vanity area of the bathroom from maybe a previous guest that was missed. But I’m not sure that’s on the cleaner rather the previous guest…? How did chunks of toothpaste get on the wall? Though as a host myself, I comb through my short-term rental before every guest and after the cleaner leaves. The price is fair. I liked that the unit was tucked away in the back because the entire complex was quite big. The host was responsive when we thought we had to cancel our trip.

It was ok
The room is very nice and the owners are sweet. However, the area is 2 hours from hiking and 1 hour from the beach. If it’s rainy on that side of the island. The property advertises bbq and pool available. Being able to access any of those are impossible. People camp out there for the majority of the day and will be there until 20:30. There’s also a lot of young renters in that vicinity so it gets loud. The room is super cheap, but we think it’s better to spend the money on a hotel closer to our activities. We’ve spent more on gas and food than if we went with our original resort cost.
