The only reason we gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the front desk charged us $2157 on our 3rd day. When we asked them about it they said that they estimate what they think I would spend on my last day and they will credit me in 3-4 days. We had spent $900 on the spa and food prior to the charge. "My daughter and I went here for a little staycation over Labor Day weekend. Front desk staff was very kind and very helpful. There are activities for kids of all ages, dancing and stories for little ones; swimming for all ages. Every time the wolf howled in the water park area meant the wave pool was starting and you'd hear screams right behind the howl, of kids running to get in there. There were couples and family fitting tube rides. Food that we had, pizza and some Dunkin' in the morning...

"I cant wait to stay again. The hotel had two beautiful pools, gorgeous grounds, and the staff was kind and polite. I also appreciate how quiet the rooms were. My goodness! Each room was so far apart. I was in the back of the resort and therefore, had a quiet, peaceful balcony that looked at the trees. It was lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer and I look forward to returning next year. "

"My husband and I absolutely loved this place! The staff were wonderful. Upon arrival I was greeted by a man named Nate (I believe) and he was friendly and efficient. He also informed me that our room had been upgraded! It was such a nice surprise considering we were there for our five year wedding anniversary. The teddy bear was also a lovely touch. A staff member gave us an extra one as well! Breakfast was amazing. We’ll definitely be back again!"

It did have a security bar but still a little shabby.Otherwise room was good, and we will probably stay there again because the location and the water view. My main complaint though was the terrible food in their restaurant. Incredibly overpriced and poor tasting. I don’t mind paying a higher price for my meal if it’s quality but it was woefully sub par. If we do stay there again most definitely will not...
