The setting on the river makes for a serene and relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet has quite a good selection of Portuguese delicacies. "

"Fabulous location with ocean view. Clean, well furnished. Would have been nice if 2 of 3 bedrooms had king beds vs just one. The Beachfront resort restaurant was closed the Sunday & Monday of our stay. And the market place wasn’t open late so if you had a late arrival you had few options. Unfortunately the entryway locking mechanism at the front door was bizarrely difficult to open & you had to be careful you didn’t scrape your knuckles when turning the tiny knob. At least 6 coffee pods...

"I’ve been holidaying in Portugal down south for 40 years and we wanted to try a different area- it did not disappoint! The area is wonderful Inc the lagoon, the castle etc and we absolutely loved this villa, it made our family holiday so enjoyable, especially with all of the kids items. The villa is very comfortable and really well furnished with lovely art and decorative bits - it feels warm and like a home from home. The heated pool, the outdoor play area for the children, the bikes and toys...
