"This was a small, bare bones rental. Necessities were included such as kitchen supplies, and I appreciated the gallon of water (water super hard) and the full ice trays. WiFi password didn’t work and I attempted to contact host online, but I never heard back. I think they live on the property, but I didn’t want to bother them. I did get a good cell signal. "Beautiful, large, clean cottage on Grand Lake with great fishing, close to hiking spots, Lake Huron, and downtown. Host is fabulous. Boat just right for fishing. Have stayed here many times and hope to again!"

"A returning guest to the Embers Cabin and it did not disappoint. Nice binders filled with information about the area provided by owner. Bed super comfy. All amenities were accurate with online property description. Clean, tidy and peaceful! It was great to unplug and unwind here. Also as a solo traveler, I felt very safe at this location. 10/10 recommend."

"NettieBay was a great getaway moment after the summer season concluded. No one else around except for our hosts--our hosts gave us a nice warm greeting upon our arrival and their communication was awesome. The evenings were silent and best of all, no Wi-Fi!
