Bright and Open Modern Northeast Montavilla ADU

New construction. 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath. Review sleeping arrangement layout before booking. Open modern design. New furniture and bedding. Includes full kitchen with pots and pans spices and olive oil and vinegar. A Mr Coffee maker. TV with directv in each room. Back French patio doors to private yard and garden.
The neighborhood has too many good restaurants and coffee houses to list. My favorites are Mudd Works (coffee), and Bi Partisan Cafe. East Glisan Pizza is excellent. Roscoes, Hourglass (great fried chicken), Observatory restaurant.
Go for a 3 mile hike up to Mt Tabor and get a great view of downtown Portland and watch the sunset.

The Perfect Spot
We were in town to visit a family member who lives in the neighborhood and this home could not have been more perfect. It was immaculate upon arrival with plenty of space for my family of four to spread out and get comfortable for the week. John was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Supplies and welcome information were available on site. I have nothing but praise for this rental and I very much look forward to returning in the future.

Three Old Ladies on Vacation
This was a conveniently located home not far from the airport, downtown, or Washington park. The neighborhood is not “fancy”, but the nearby bakery is amazing and we had a delicious dinner at a nearby Vietnamese restaurant. If you are looking for a place that is convenient to lots of Portland’s attractions, this is great. The neighborhood is walkable to nearby restaurants, but this is not an upscale neighborhood. The trade off is restaurants that are very affordable.

Excellent use of space
My husband and I were quite comfortable in this Portland ADU for 10 nights. We LOVE that is has 2 FULL Baths! That is very rare in vacation rentals in eastern Portland, even in 3 bedroom houses. For us, the location was perfect because of being able to walk to our son’s house , to multiple restaurants, to Fred Meyer, and to Yoga Refuge. John was a great host, very accessible and accommodating. Some artwork on the walls and potted plants out front would make it feel more homey.

The house is just great. Looks like pictures. My only complaint is that the master bedroom bath does not allow use of a hair dryer. You have to use the downstairs bath. It’s not the end of the world but is inconvenient.

Lovely quiet unit perfect for our family
This is the second time we've stayed with John while visiting family in the area. The property was sparkling clean, modern, bright and comfortable. Check in and check out were easy. Definitely recommend if you want a quiet, private place to explore the city and surrounding areas.
