« The house was perfect for my family. We were there for 10days. It was really nice to be close to the lake. It had great yard space and amenities. There were plenty of towels to be used and the best stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and cooking utensils I have ever seen. I had one suggestion to the host for an item to be stocked in the house. It was a laundry basket. The host said they would have one ordered and sent to the house. « David was great! Had a wonderful time! Always wanted to see a frozen Lake Erie. It didn't disappoint. When we first entered the cottage we were in awe. So woodsy, clean, not cluttered. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to the highway. Easy to get in and out. Make sure you follow David's directions. Chautauqua Creek fed into Lake Erie beside us and was amazing. A little disappointed some restaurants were closed for the winter but understand. Great long weekend! Will be back!!! »

« This rental exceeded our expectations. The location was great, close enough to canoe to the lake. The host goes out of their way for renters to have a great experience providing basic needs that others almost never provide. The communication with the host was great as they responded to every message in a timely manner. We hope to rent again in the future. »

« The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...
