Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place!
I loved the location and the decor. The rooftop deck is awesome. A few minute walk to the beach and also to the fish market and Mango Marley’s !! I would definitely go back!!

Nice family getaway
This was our first beach trip with our 6 month old, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Very clean, comfy, and close proximity to the beach. We loved watching the sunsets from the rooftop! The property had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

All around great place
Home is everything it was advertised to be we loved it great location and views. Had issue with WiFi called the number provided and was answered promptly and got assistance from person on duty at 7pm at night followed up with a call the next morning from a local person to help correct the issue. Very good response from the management team especially at night and on a Sunday.

Wonderful Beach Home
We loved the views from the balcony and roof. It is a tad difficult to get up on the roof if you have older or really young ones, but doable. The kitchen was gorgeous and the entire home very clean. The beach was easy to access and a very short walk down the road. Outdoor shower was a huge blessing. We would definitely stay again!

Great Experience
Great location with a very laid back non-busy atmosphere. There is nothing touristy about this area, which I love. Very comfy and clean house with a short walk to the beach, literally a minute to the sand! This house has everything you need. A completely equipped kitchen with quality pots/pans and utensils to cook just about anything you want. Lots of extra beach props included with the house, a nice beach cart to haul all of your gear and a private outdoor shower/rinse station to wash off the sand. Oh and an excellent view from the rooftop! I would definitely go back.

This is a spectacular Home! We enjoyed the amazing views of the Ocean from all areas of the House, but the most rewarding view was from the rooftop terrace. Sunsets, moon rising in the evenings and the beautiful sunrises each morning. This place is a must to visit.

Great
Great town and great house !!! No complaints what so ever concerning the owners or the house. The only thing disappointing is we didn't receive an early check in when it was asked for and there wasn't any reason not to as we sat in the driveway and waited an hour and a half while nobody came or went, so why not just let us get in and unpacked after a 13 hour road trip? We realize this was on the management team though and not the owners.

Winter stay after Thanksgiving
We loved the house and the lay out. It had all the amenities and made you feel very confortable. The elevator was a life saver I could of not taken all the items up and down the steps... its perfect for people who have a little age on them. However I didn't realize so many homes were being built right next to each other. It was not told to us at the time of renting that construction was still going on around us. I called vaca and spoke with a manager and they made it right. We will be looking to come back in the next couple of months and maybe bring friends with us. Love the beach and the area.

Second time staying here
This was our second time staying in Happy Ours. We love the location of the home to the beach and the roof top deck has amazing views. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need to cook with. But, we had a lot of pea-ants and gnats in the kitchen and there was spray under the sink for bugs so we assume it wasn’t the first time for this issue. There is a lot of construction going on, on this street so be prepared to wake up early with jackhammers and excavators and partial view obstructions from equipment. The starter kit for 6 people only 2 towels and no wash clothes so be prepared to bring those, as we were not. The elevator is a nice added amenity to not have to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs, the small beach wagon was very helpful along with a few beach chairs. The overall cleanliness of the house was good but the kitchen issue just made it really hard to feel clean and hard to use the kitchen.

It was a great property. It was unique, clean and comfortable. The only downside was the elevator. A member of our family got stuck in it and there was no key accessible to easily get her out. When calling the property management company they could not help us and told us to call 911. It would have been a simple fix if we would have had access to the elevator key. After we were able to get her out the elevator it was unusable for the rest of our trip. We had to bring all our luggage down 3 floors in order to leave.

Great views and location, but some construction noise and a few bugs.
We loved the views, access to the beach, Outdoor seating areas on the ground floor, 3rd floor and roof. We also loved the decor, furniture, elevator, kitchen, fast internet, and bathrooms for both bedrooms. We liked the fridge so much we bought one when we got home. The beds are on the softer side but were comfortable. There are TVs in every room, but the smart TV functionality is on the slower side. Thankfully we brought our own Apple TV to hook up for entertaining the kids between beach visits. The beach chairs and cart were appreciated. The outdoor shower had hot and cold water, but the handheld sprayer needed some attention (probably needs replaced) but got the job done. We didn’t try the sofa sleeper, and the kids slept in the bunk beds. The bunk beds have outlets and is right in front of the stairs. So for younger kids I recommend a gate or some outlet covers. We didn’t like the black bugs by the kitchen sink and oven, i think they were really small ants. We also witnessed a cockroach on 3 separate occasions. The construction noise was also very present all day. Mexico Beach is still rebuilding from Hurricane Michael so it is understandable. The LVP in those Overall, we had a great time and would visit again but would hope that the pests are not present.

Happy Hours at Happy Ours
Trip was great! Very relaxing home with great views all around. Relaxing on the front porch or roof top brought on some amazing views of the gulf. Met a few of the neighbors around the home and everyone was super friendly which is what brings us back to Mexico beach multiple times a year. Brought our bikes down and enjoyed riding to the nearby shops and of course Mango Marley’s. Home was perfect for our getaway and plan to be back next year!

Lovely, Clean, Cozy, and close to the Beach
Rooftop access made for a lovely evening at Sunset if we were not on the beach. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. A half bathroom on the upper level living area was nice. The elevator is super handy for bringing groceries and luggage up and down. Three wicker chair, swings under the carport were comfy when grilling outside. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off sand before going into the house. Kitchen was well appointed, and the furniture was all comfortable. We also made use of the little balcony on the third floor as a change of scenery for the little ones when needed. Highly recommend this home. We made some good memories at Happy Ours.

Great beach house
We loved the house! It came equipped with everything you would need and some. Great location with a great view and short walk to the beach! Unfortunately our vacation was cut short after just 2 days when we booked 7. Hurricane Helene was approaching and we were advised by multiple locals that we may need to evacuate. With small children we didn’t want to risk anything.

We were so happy
we loved the under the building parking that was covered. We loved the easy check-in. We loved the elevator! The outdoor shower and hose were very convenient for getting off the sand before entering the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had of plates and glasses. The shower was very nice with good pressure. The beds were comfortable with ceiling fans to make sure you were not hot. The owner has great style in decor. Walking to the ocean and beach was a breeze, and the beach cart was a great bonus. The rooftop would be nice if it wasn’t in the Dog days of August. we loved everything about this house and would love to return.
