"The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. The front desk accommodated my request for a ground floor room and it was much appreciated. They also loaned me a US to NZ power plug and I’m most grateful for that. Housekeeping didn’t cleaned my room on the 1st day but promptly cleaned upon request, I think it was an oversight.
