The owners are among the nicest, most friendly and helpful folks one could imagine. Their place is immaculately clean and well appointed. They remain downstairs unless delivering fresh pastries silently in the morning. The varied assortment of breakfast foods were plentiful, tasty and convenient as well as, being available in the second floor common room all day long. The second floor, where guests stay, has its own secure entrance apart from the main entrance. Each of the three guest rooms in the guest area has its own key which, I am sure, is a comforting if guests do not know each other. Its location is an easy walk to Port Jefferson Village with its shops, restaurants and port. The owners offer dining and sightseeing suggestions if requested. Just a lovely stay.

Would highly recommend!
Fantastic hosts and property. My group booked the whole floor, for two nights, and loved our stay. Rebecca and Andrew were so welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the property and neighborhood. The property and amenities are true to the listing, and their attention to detail made the stay even more lovely and memorable. Would highly recommend a stay at the Fox & Owl Inn!
