"I’ve been travelling to Parksville for years to visit my parents. This was my first time staying at Skylite Motel and it will likely be my goto from now on. Great location, walking distance to my parents apartment, close to lots of amenities. The only thing I would recommend the motel consider is the addition of a coat rack or some hooks because there was nowhere to hang jackets and clothes. "

"This properties level of cleanliness is terrible. The young man that helped us to get clean linen and towels was very nice. The room needed a complete cleansing. The buildings steel stairwell in rusted almost clean through. In my opinion this property need too many repairs and upgrades. "

"Had a great time at Spirit Cabin. Staff was friendly and the park and arcade onsite were fun for the kids. Only downside is the fold out couch was very thin and uncomfortable. My teenager just slept on the couch folded up."

"Location was convenient. OK, if you just need a place to stay for a couple of days. The towels were all stained. Management wanted the dishes washed but only place to do it was in the bathroom sink. Smoke alarm had a dying battery and beeped all night long. Probably won't stay here again."
