It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. The spacious bedrooms of the house and views of the countryside are beautiful. There are stairs to negotiate, and having a vehicle is helpful. "

"Just amazing property Lucca was lovely. The road leading to the house was no joke its really off-road. I had a rubbish car and it made it but you need to have some vague confidence. Pizza night organised was really enjoyable had a smashing time. Id say the house is definitely child safe but for a really active 1 year old we found ourselves constantly having to monitor him every second he was awake. But it’s defiantly manageable really nice stay and well worth the visit. "
