"It's in a lovely location, and the directions to find it were perfect (follow them). We loved the morning walks in the neighborhood and the quiet. We know we were warned it was a rustic cabin, but the bugs were annoying (even though the bug company was just there), and one mattress should be replaced. According to a log cabin builder, the exterior needs to be sealed again to prevent the bugs. "

"Coming from the NYC metro area, spending a week at the cabin was a fantastic break from the grind. The house was beautiful and had everything I could have wanted. The property was ideal for outdoor exploring, grilling or just relaxing to enjoy nature. Was able to see a herd of Elk come through, wild turkeys and even a coyote one afternoon (he was not close and ran off, no danger). I would 100% recommend the cabin to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and a comfortable, but secluded, getaway."

"Everything about this property is wonderful. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. The location is close to Downtown Stanley, Hot Springs and many hiking trails. The owners emailed us after our first night to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend this property for summer or winter activities. 5 Star! "

"We enjoyed ourselves all week, except for the fact that the Traeger grill/smoker took forever to cook with and was filthy. So we spent a few hours burning off the funk on the grill because there were no cleaning brushes, etc., in sight. Secondly, we were three guys over 69 with some common health issues, so we were unable to use the outdoor table that had been removed from the deck. Hopefully, the hosts will kick back some of the money we spent. That would be the right thing to do..."
