"The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"We were a family group of 15 ranging in age from 20 to 92. We used the pool every day. Laughed at the clothes dryer because they have the same kind in Portugal where we vacationed. "Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Room was large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Elevator was very helpful especially for getting to breakfast on the 4th floor. Breakfast room had glass all around providing a great view of the valley. Food was substantial. Even had pancakes. Adding eggs would be nice for visitors. Person working the breakfast room was very nice and made us fresh coffee and cappuccino each morning. Highly recommend this hotel. It is very close to the center of Cortona, easy walking to the many wonderful Cortona restaurants, stores and wine shop. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. "

"First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! The halls and rooms were stunning. Old stone and iron everywhere. We stayed in the top room with the terrace. Oh man, I just can’t tell you how beautiful and fun this stay was. We sat on the terrace and watched the meteor shower while I did night photography! This property is stunning. The parking down the hill was free! Just pull into the parking lot, park, then call the desk to get you a taxi up to the hotel! Unless you’re fit and can climb a hill with suitcases get a quick 2 minute taxi up there! Trust me, it’s a walled city and the walk up and down is a thing! It’s only 150 yards or so but damn, it’s an ancient cobble stone hill! Get the ride! Bring comfy shoes because you’re gonna walk the whole town! "

Fairytale Getaway in Arezzo!

"Where to begin? For starters this property is even more beautiful in person than in the incredible photos shown here. It is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Many people had left helpful cooking ingredients. The location is perfect. We were right across the street from a multi-generational, family owned & operated pastry/coffee shop. The women who run it are lovely, and the food/coffee was so yummy we went there every day of our weeklong stay. We easily walked to delicious restaurants, a park with an incredible view, the Piazza Grande, and tons of great shops! (If you are shopping for leather goods, La Bottega del Cuoio should not be missed!) We cannot say enough good things about Stefano, the guest house’s host. Not only did he drive us to and from the train station, but he also took us grocery shopping. Stefano is kind, fun and very helpful. He even offers very reasonably priced guided day trips and can teach you how to cook as an Italian. He is a host with many talents! We highly recommend Stefano’s beautiful guest house! So much so, we will come back and rent it again!"
