The property is full of character and we especially enjoyed the owner’s appreciation of nature; there was a wonderful blending into the surroundings. Greg and Linda were gracious and attentive hosts- gave us space but were also willing to share history and stories full of personality with us. The antique furnishings in the Inn are beautiful and the building itself is a work of high craftsmanship. We would love to stay here again!"

"Everything about this property was amazing! The beds were super comfy, the couches reclined, the dining room sat everyone, the kitchenn had ample space for multiple persons, and the hot tub was hot!"

"I had a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay at John's property. It's located on a beautiful cul de sac that backs up to a canal - saw a Snowy Egret looking for frogs twice. The trees around the yard are full of singing birds. It's a great location without all the traffic and noise of the beach. Really comfortable bed and living room. I'm sure I'll be back."

"This is a great find. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes for us, the pool is about halfway between the condo and the beach. Walking to the shops in Duck took about 15 minutes. Its all very easy to do, and the outdoor shower is very convenient. They have a fully stocked kitchen and had extra towels put out for us too which we appreciated. We will be back!!"

"We booked this for our “framily” get away with about 20 of us. Loved it! We all needed this break and the house did not disappoint. Perfect for a place to stay where you just want to enjoy each other. Enough space for all the adults and kids. We loved going down to the beach and it was an easy walk or quick golf cart trip. We were within walking distance to shops and some restaurants. Plenty of laughs were had by all thanks to the many games at the house. We all loved the pool and hot tub. Pretty much all the bedrooms had a balcony where we loved to congregate in the mornings with our coffee and plan our day. The hosts were amazing just like the house."

"The check-in process went very smoothly, and the property was largely as advertised. However, shortly checking in (before any food was opened), we found several roaches on multiple levels throughout the house, and we found several dried hairs in the cabinets and on multiple pieces of cooking ware. We contacted the management company about the roaches, and they sent out an exterminator shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, after 24 hours we continued to find roaches throughout the house for the remainder of our stay. While we recognize the spiders and ants are part of any house in the area, the continued presence of roaches inside certainly soured the experience. Furthermore, the furniture was not clean. This went beyond stains or normal "wear & tear." There were particles of foreign matter on the furniture when we first arrived. We cleaned and mitigated as best we could, but again, this was disappointing. Finally, at approximately 8:40 AM, when we were in the process of checking out before the 9:00 AM departure time, someone came to the property to do a walk around, and it was disruptive to the final loading/packing process. We have loved the other VRBO properties and experiences we have had, so I hesitate to leave an unwelcome review. But in short, it was disappointing."
