"We had the most relaxing two weeks. The house is beautiful, especially the conservatory, and in a lovely private and quiet location with great views of the village. The village is a short walk away and has everything you need (including two bakeries though sadly one of them was closed while we were there). There is a supermarket although it isn't great, but there is a good one a short drive away. There are also places to eat and drink. The garden is beautiful and very big, although there is nowhere to eat in the garden which is a shame. It also has numerous escape routes, so isn't ideal for dogs. We had a long lead so were able to tether our dog meaning he could potter fairly freely without us having to worry about him. While the house has beds for eight, it doesn't really feel as though it's set up for such a big group - there is only a quite small sofa in the living area and four seats in the conservatory (which aren't particularly comfortable). There is a dining table that seats eight, but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't make for a relaxing place to spend much time. The house is in a great location with lots to do in the area and easy access to main roads. The property was clean and airy and we would definitely be happy to return."
