Very vibrant. We were unaware of Spain’s National Holiday so there were a lot of tourists. Enjoyed the “rock band” in the evening that played outside one of the cafes!

Excellent clean apartment in the centre of Madrid. Walking distance to Sol and Opera metro stations. San Miguel Mercado and Plaza Mayor just around the corner, so plenty of options for food. Although our apartment had a balcony to the street outside, we both slept soundly. Friendly welcoming staff and a daily maid service if required. Would definitely stay again when visiting Madrid.
