"The owner was quick to respond and checked on us when the power went out. The alarm system was a bit of an annoyance. It chirped our whole stay, even after we replaced the battery in the smoke detector. To be fair we did not contact the owner with this complaint. We were so busy with funeral services that we just did not have the energy. Also the dishwasher is in need of some attention "

"The outside of the house gave no indication of the welcoming, well appointed and comfortable interior. The kitchen was the highlight, with all the necessary cooking amenities we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, warm during the cooler nights. We loved the large backyard, easily see dogs romping around and were sad that we couldn’t use it as much as we wanted because of the rain.
