« Cabin was cozy, loved the fire and rustic over all feel. The back patio overlooking the stream was so relaxing even though we didn’t get to sit out there! The lovely snow made up for it. Only one note-not a complaint, very limited WiFi speed and no cell service. Actually helped me unplug for a while but important to note if you need to have a connection for work or any other reason. »

« Great spot between monarch and Salida. Hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub not as private as the picture implies. Highway quite loud (woke kids up several times). Internet spotty at best. Kitchen had pots/pans/ dishes but zero condiments. Hard to prepare your own meals with nothing to add (ie olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup etc). It would be impossible to cook many meals there unless you brought your own spices and condiments. Found it odd since that’s part of the draw to...

Although there were a few MINOR things about our stay that could have been better (the water temperature was slightly cooler than we expected and the kitchen knives and can opener were flimsy and difficult to use), we think the overall experience was fantastic. « The cabin location is great, midway between Salida and Monarch Mountain. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and more. In my experience no other VRBO property can compare in that regard. It was our second stay at this property and we will be back again God willing. »
