Would have liked for the fireplace to have worked we did not use the amenities due to it being cold and raining. »

« This house was excellent. It was secluded and private but still very close to the town center. There was hiking trails and plenty of space for my dogs to explore. The house is set up so thoughtfully. There's games, pool tables, a hot tub, breathtaking views. It was such a nice and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back! »

« We chose to stay at the Toe River Retreat based upon the views and outdoor space, beautiful interior and cool garage rec space...and it did not dissapoint! When we arrived the interior was every bit as welcoming as it looked in the pictures, and it was very clean and the furniture was very comfortable. However, we really did not stay inside much because the outdoor space was awesome and the views were amazing and ever changing. It was the first place I went when I woke up and after each days...

« The highlight of this home is the sunroom and its view of the valley. The Perch is clean and comfortable. It's also convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway. My spouse and I spent most of our days driving along the Parkway and hiking on trails. We also drove down to hike Table Rock. The Perch is a great place to stay for mountain adventures! »

« The stay was great! Views are amazing, especially from the hot tub. We had quite a bit of snow while there which was great for snowboarding. We managed to still be able to get in and out with no problem driving an AWD vehicle. Beds were comfy and owner was great about checking in on us. Very unique property that is great for larger families or multiples families. Plenty of room to explore on this unique property. »

« The oven was replaced with a new induction type and there were no pits to use at the house. It only used a certain type of pot and there aren’t any there. »

« This house was amazing. We spent Christmas here as a family, and loved everything. The house was so well stocked (probably the best we have ever stayed in). The views are breathtaking the surround sound system was great for Christmas music. The steps down to the lake are intense BUT the host describes them well. This house was exactly what we wanted and soooo much more… Great place book toda. »
