"The hotel itself is very nice including the exterior grounds and seems to be in good condition, and we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a huge apartment-style cottage which was really great. Most of the service was good, but the hotel seems to be short-handed, eg. we had to wait a little while checking out because there was only one guy working at the front desk although there was a line. "Requested handicapped/accessible when placing reservation but was told none were available. I was first offered a room with a bathtub.I cannot lift my right leg for than a few inches so getting into a shower is dangerous as I am a fall risk. I was told to wait and a roll in shower should become available. I waited…… I finally got a room but received a step in shower instead. Still risky but managed to get in.
