A unique, attractive, boutique-like facility with lots of attention paid to detail appearance. Very nice, stylish rooms. Excellent very helpful staff (limited English speaking). Somewhat “strange” partnership with neighboring facility where connecting ponds water features are located (a fair walk, especially the return uphill). Fairly isolated and difficult to get to with very limited activities.

I love this hotel. I intended to stay for six days, but a single overnight convinced me to book another four days. That morning, I walked up to Zeida at the desk and said, "The sky is too pink, the sand too soft, the ocean too relaxing, the view too spectacular." What I didn't know then but do now is that the employees are exemplary- every single one.
By the way, the nightly cost here provides a nice hotel in Boston without the sea of people catering to your every need. Meals here are cheaper than local restaurants.
A long list of now friendly faces - I've forgotten too many names - including Braulio, Eddie, Wendy, Sonia, Vani, Saltares, and Kevin - all a tribute to the person in charge of hiring. I'll be back.

The property is very nice and everything was kept clean and in good condition. Check in and check out was quick and easy. If your Spanish is limited don't worry there were enough English speaking staff members to assist you or answer questions. Food option were plentiful. I'm not really an alcoholic drinker but ppl seemed to like the drinks.All staff I encountered were very friendly and nice. The pool areas were great and kept very clean. Beach area was ok. The staff did a great job of entertaining the guests. If I had 1 negative to say the bed for me was not the most comfortable. All in all my friend and I had a great stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romona. I would definitely come back to this resort one day.
