"Staff was very welcoming and polite. Food (breakfast) was delicious. A bit noisy as the Colorado Buffaloes and their fans and families were staying at the hotel for the Alamo Bowl. Overall I would recommend the hotel. "

"Great location close enough to be conveniently walkable but far enough away from the busy section of the riverwalk to be quiet. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were perfect. "

"If you are wanting to stay at a piece of history look no further than Menger, you will not be disappointed. Its beauty and architect is something to see. The building next to it is the Alamo and directly across the street is the River Walk. Give it 10 stars if i could. "
