"The entire staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Our room was comfortable the only downside was the bathroom was a little small and not as updated like other hotels we have stayed at. Overall the hotel was very clean and inviting. We ate at the hotel and the food was decent and the prices were inline with what you received. Alex the bartender was exceptional and very personable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it’s location in Lancaster is in approximately to many places you would want to visit."

"Historic building with a lovely hotel and nice restaurant. Good location and beautiful property. Not sure what my VIP amenity was with the hotel, but the evening service (turndown, maybe for the amenity?) included a delivery of a rose and a couple chocolates for my wife and I. Would higly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn of Lancaster. The room and beds were comfortable. The room looked like the picture, probably better than the photos. The balcony with the rocking chairs looked fantastic and we could imagine sitting out there on a beautiful night (not a snowy cold evening like when we were there...) The continental breakfast was good with a 4 different cereals, hard boiled eggs, bagels, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would be happy to stay here again."

"Enjoyed the stay immensely. Tight fit with my wife and our 4 teenage daughters but the family enjoyed the special atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the caboose we stayed in was very well done. I was very cold for our stay in December, floors were a little cold so bring thick socks or slippers! But the room was warm and cozy! Quite a fun nostalgic stay. Casey Jones Restaurant was outstanding!"
