Awesome Cabin near ski trails and mountain hiking
We stayed two nights at Dave and Heathers cabin. It was very comfortable and quiet. Everything in the cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. And the view from the cabin was amazing! The location was perfect for exploring Hatcher Pass.

Great stay in a beautiful place!
We loved the thoughtful touches and comfortable atmosphere of this lovely cabin. It was great to grill, enjoy coffee on the porch and have everything we needed to fix a meal and relax after a nearby hike. The mountain view is outstanding! Heather & David are gracious and friendly hosts and I would certainly recommend a stay at Fiddle Creek Cabin.

Cabin was really well thought out and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the little creek that was next to the cabin. Although we were only at the cabin one night and passing through the area, if you were going to spend some time around the Palmer area, I would highly suggest this cabin. It's very near Government Peak and the Hatcher Pass Recreation areas that support a lot of outdoor activities.

Peaceful and Relaxing
This place was the perfect first stop for our two week trip in Alaska! It was peaceful listening to the bubbling creek and watching the fire we made each night. Heather even refilled our firewood for our last night, which made for an amazing last fire that inspired us to cook outside and completed a great stay! The cabin itself is adorable, and the screen door makes it seem like we were outside even when we were sitting on the comfy couch:)

Amazing Cabin in a beautiful location
Our family of 4 just loved the cabin. It was a very cozy and comforting place. Everything in the cabin spoke volumes about the thoughtfulness that was put when decorating the cabin. David and Barbara were very helpful. The drive to Hatcher Pass which was only 15 minutes away was very beautiful. Overall we had a good and relaxing stay.

Charming, homey, peaceful, gorgeous view!
This cute cabin is right at the base of Government Peak, with a gorgeous mountain view. It was so peaceful to sit out on the deck, listen to the creek, and take in the beautiful scenery. The cabin itself was fully stocked. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook, the bed was comfy, the decor is charming, and it was SO CLEAN. It really felt like a home away from home. It's minutes away from hiking, biking, skiing, snowmachining, snowboarding; the perfect location for all things outdoors. Our stay was a refreshing retreat!!

Cozy cabin with a great view!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very clean with everything you need to fix a meal or some snacks. It even included an outside grill and a fire pit. Heather and David were very helpful with tips for different things to do in the area. After a day of sightseeing we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and soaking in the view. My son thoroughly enjoyed playing with their children. He's already asking when we can return for another visit.

Cabin so nice, ya gotta book twice!
Fell in love with this cabin as soon as we found it! We loved it so much that we booked it for the beginning and end of our trip. The location and all the amenities were great and it was literally the cleanest place I've ever stayed away from home. The view was absolutely amazing and everything you need is there to cook a 5 star meal or a quick snack. Heather and David were very helpful and couldn't have been more friendly! The best part was when we got to see a moose and her calf walk right onto the property one evening!!! We will definitely be back the next chance we get!

Stay here!
This cabin is cozy, warm and welcoming. A little bridge connects the parking space to the cabin, making it feel very inviting. Entering the cabin, you will find it tastefully decorated and stocked with your every need. We slept soundly and comfortably and had we had kids along, they would have been content with their own space (even though there were no barriers, it felt like separate spaces. There is a grill and firepit for evening cookouts and storytelling, s'mores and roasted marshmallows. I highly recommend this rental and have absolutely no suggestions for improvement. David and Heather, thank you for providing us with the perfect oasis on our exploration of Alaska!

The location of this property is great if you are visiting the Hatcher Pass area. Get any food you need before you get out here otherwise you will have to drive 20 minutes to get to a store other than a gas station to grab a sandwich. There are 2 gas stations nearby that have limited offerings. The cabin is really cute. The towels were fluffy and the kitchen had just what you need. The view is awesome and it is a safe, rural area. I really liked the decorations in the cabin. It was decent sized for myself, my husband, and our 18 year old son. My only criticism was the comfort of the beds. My son normally sleeps pretty hard and he complained about having trouble sleeping on the lower bunk. The queen bed wasn't great either. It was on a platform instead of a box spring. Overall, I really liked this well decorated and well built cabin, but wish the beds were more comfy.
