The hotel has a partner taxi company it works with who give tours and great recommendations for places to eat out. "We had a lovely stay at Darga Rouge made really special by the kind hospitality of Hakim and his family. The pool and garden are spectacular, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and tajines cooked by the lovely Samira and had an incredibly relaxing hamman and massage. Hakim was always on hand to check that we had everything that we needed and to provide advice about trips out and where to eat. We highly recommend the grill at the local service station! "The stay was a must late reservation so I could not look for another otherwise I would not stay Upon arrival curtains were on the ground promised a tech to fix the problem no tech showed up An hour later was told “just live with it” WOW The bed “see photo” bathroom door does not close And TV has no channels at all "

"Just back from a great week here - food was amazing and lots of choice. Nice cocktails served by friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Handy shuttle bus into the medina (needed prior booking but we were able to get on when we wanted). Overall would definitely recommend!"

"Excellent hotel and great staff nice selection of food only thing I did not like we was delayed at airport and when we arrived at hotel the all inclusive restaurant had been closed for an hour we asked for a sandwich and was told only thing they offered was room service which we was expected to pay for "

Hotel Riu Tikida Garden - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Great resort off the beaten path. 10 min can ride to the Medina or the resort offers a free shuttle, but nothing after 1830 pm, which is inconvenient. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Mostly quiet property. Could hear some noise in the hallways and one day they were drilling something right outside our room in the morning. The air conditioning is not very strong or cold, but that seems to be the norm in Morocco (nowhere we went our entire stay had decent air conditioning like the U.S.), but kept the room around 78F (25C). The highlights were the pools. So clean. So refreshing. Nice and comfortable. No screaming or splashing children. Music at the pool was at a comfortable level so you could still talk, read, nap, etc. staff were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. The food choices were limited but we ate every day. Mostly caters to British/European travelers, but in their defense, that is 90% of their demographic at this resort. We were the only American we encountered. Would have appreciated some scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and avocado - but we made due. We had dinner 1 night at the resort, which was adequate, but again, nothing spectacular. We went off site for dinner the rest of our 8 days. Overall, would stay again. A few minor changes needed to the noise level, a/c, and food choices, but nothing major. We had a wonderful time and would return. "
