"We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this very clean farm type cottage. Yes... it is an hour from Kona, but a perfect place to stage up while you visit the island. The Captain Cook area provides plenty of meal options. Nearby beaches, Lava Tubes and halfway to Hawaii Volcano's National Park gives you lots of opportunities to explore the youngest of the Hawaiian Islands. Our host was never intrusive but always provided help when needed."
