There are two main Taipei Sogo buildings in the city. The white building at Zhongxiao Sogo has a clock over the entrance that plays “It’s a Small World” every hour. The second building has a blue façade and is located on Zhongxiao East Road. Each landmark building offers a complete shopping experience in a traditional department store style. Find the latest designer fashions from international brands such as Prada, Gucci, Stella McCartney, Hermès, Dior and Chanel. Taste Japanese and Taiwanese delicacies, or discover Japanese manga comic books.
Find sporting goods and house wares on the upper floors. Treat yourself to Japanese and Taiwanese delicacies and candy, as well as local and international gourmet foods and groceries, in the supermarket located in the basement. In the food court, try Taiwanese stall fare. If you want a more substantial meal, head to the ninth floor, where you can choose from a number of restaurants. Sit back and enjoy your meal while looking out over the city. For a mid-morning or mid-afternoon break, head to the Wedgewood Tea Room on the ninth floor, which serves tea in classic bone china cups.
