"We were visiting the area to see family over the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas at the house. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare dishes for our Christmas celebration. It was a special surprise to walk in and have the house already decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree. The location is a little remote but beautiful and was perfect for us."

"We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and...

"Perfect location to get together with sisters to bake and be kids again. The kitchen was very accommodating for the 4 of us to bake Christmas goodies and not step on each other. "

"This property was comfortable with lots of little extras to make the stay pleasant. The location was a quick drive to Chambersburg to grab some groceries/carry out or to walk the rail trail. Or you can drive a little further to Shippensburg or Caledonia. The kitchen was well equipped, the oven and stove worked well, and we found some basics in the pantry...plus some extras like a great pancake mix! We found the two larger beds to be comfortable and there are lots of blankets to choose from to...

"The property has a fully equipped kitchen with nice dinner and cookware. There's special decoration touches throughout. The large TV in the living room is very convenient. It's only a 5 minute drive from Penn National. Very convenient location. "

"Had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. Property owners were very accessible to address an issue with one of the stairs. We originally could not get in using the steps provided, but after the incident we had no issues. It was a great space to host 13 individuals. My only suggestion is to have more lighting. I would rent farmhouse again. "

"This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Location-wise we had easy access to hiking trails nearby and Gettysburg. House was super clean and had a great layout for just hanging around. Private, wooded lot felt secluded. We enjoyed the fireplace, large kitchen and the hot tub after a long winter hike. The game room in the garage was perfect for some evening relaxation. The hosts were quick with communication and easy to work with. I would definitely return in the future."

"We stayed here overnight but it’s definitely a place we would book again for an extended stay. It’s clean and cozy with all of the amenities in a quiet town, not far from shops, grocery stores or places to eat, and the host Heidi was responsive."

"Cozy cabin in the woods, very off the beaten path (SUV and GPS a must, in our opinion). Went for a long weekend, wanted a place that would be close to Gettysburg for hubby to visit battlefields and for me to sit back with my dogs and be "one" with nature while working on my writing. Both boxes checked. Cabin was clean, plenty of area for our dachshunds to run in the leaves. Enjoyed morning breakfast with the neighborhood herd of deer that came to visit each morning.
