"The Dossier Hotel is a great option for downtown Portland. The staff is welcoming, affable, and professional, and the rooms are pleasantly designed and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a challenge, limited to a pay-to-park structure a block away or valet parking; and putting a price tag on bottled spring water in the room seems a bit excessive. But these peeves are outweighed by the quality of the rooms and the public spaces--and the helpfulness of the staff. We will stay there again on one of our frequent trips up to Portland. "

"We have stayed at this hotel many times and return because of the comfortable rooms, quiet and good breakfast. The location is convenient to the Keller and waterfront. Parking cost needs to be taken into consideration when calculating the cost of the room. It is not included. Sometimes they run a special but rarely."

"Great location to Powells Bookstore 📚. This hotel has a fabulous history. Some beautiful interior features. The rooms were very comfortable. Lovely bathtub with nice hot water. The food in this hotel was really good & staff are friendly. Some of the waiters have worked there for 40 years. Look forward to staying there again. "
