"Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. "

"This house is in a great spot, close to everything but with the charm of a quiet suburban neighborhood. The house is nice and everything was as advertised. The proximity to the metro makes it super convenient to take a trip over into DC. The host was super friendly and very responsive to all communication. "

"We enjoyed the beauty of nature and farmland around the farmhouse, also the unique blend of old and new in the house itself. We were visiting family in the area and this gave us a lovely place to come “home” to."

"I’ve stayed here many times now. Can’t beat their very pet friendly policies as well as their ever accommodating staff. Although the hotel rooms could use a bit of a refresh, the staff, location and pricing really can’t be beat."

"Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Jeremy, thank you so much for being so helpful and kind during our stay. The accommodations, the staff, and location was great. It was so close to everything. The food and drinks at the restaurant and bar in the hotel was amazing, we visited both places a couple of times during our stay. The happy hour at Arrels is a must!
