The only issue that we had was that we had been informed that we needed to bring cash to purchase the parking pass or else we'd be ticketed. "This was our second visit to Montage Palmetto Bluff and once again it did not disappoint. The hospitality we find here is second to none. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiling faces. We’d like to give a special shout out to Carmela at the concierge desk who was so incredibly wonderful with our 4 year-old son, Henry. Everything she did and every recommendation she provided enhanced our stay. The natural beauty of this place is beyond compare. We cannot wait to visit again. "

"We had several families, each staying in their own units at the Spa for a family reunion. The proximity to the quiet Fish Haul beach on Port Royal Sound. The only downside to the location and our unit was that when the weather is bad there isn't a great gathering spot for a big group. Our unit's porch was not screened or enclosed, so it was unavailable to us when the weather turned cold and rainy."

"We had a great time staying at this property as a jumping off point for exploring a potential family relocation to the area. The rental was a bit tight for our young family of four (one baby) but would probably have been perfect if both of our children were old enough to stay in the bunks. The Spa property is a bit dated and rundown but this specific rental was very well updated and clean. Would recommend for a couple or small family with older children that doesn't plan to spend a ton of time...

"Beautiful updated kitchen and bath. Loved the location- it was tucked away. The property was more of a nature area which we were looking for. The “beach” area is more of a place for walks and exploring nature but we were maybe 7 minutes to Folly Field Beach which was fantastic. Would highly recommend for a shorter stay than 4 1/2 weeks."

We had to call with questions a couple times and had no issue getting through to someone. The pool wasn’t too far and the river/beach was a few minute walk from our unit. "Convenient location, cleaner than average room. The floor did not dirty my socks! My only complaints were that the gravy in the breakfast was never hot, and the road in front of the hotel's entrance has major holes to navigate. It's not their property, so they are at the mercy of whatever government entity is responsible for it. It's least damaged at the far right, first driveway. There is a way to enter from the other side, but you would need to go around a few blocks to come in that way. "
