This place is so magical and amazing.The view from the deck, the froggies at night , beautiful birds, wild pigs, a donkey, cute little geckos:).Also the house is 100% percent solar off the grid.David and Wendy were great in communication and everything else!We have traveled a lot and stayed in many places... This is one we shall never forget…. Just wish we had a few more days here.A sincere mahalo David and Wendy:)"

"I did not realise that we were staying in a plantation village, with multiple accommodation. I had made a request for two beds and, as it was a slow time of year, we got two bedrooms. Pahala is a very cute town (and currently the only one with a grocery store as the one in Naalehu was no longer as at 28 Jan 25). The people were also really friendly. The only thing to consider is the roosters. If you want to sleep in - close the windows. We didn't, as the black sand beach was all ours at sunrise, then came back to Pahala for coffee at the Ka'u Coffee Mill. "
