"When we arrived on Saturday evening the woman working the desk was unpleasant. That was our only poor encounter. She was rude, couldn’t answer simple yes/no questions about check out and updating my email address, and couldn’t wait to get back to her cell phone- yikes! The rest of the employees were wonderful. Our bed was so comfortable, our room was quaint, clean, and it was great being back in my hometown! Parking was easy and you’re nearby restaurants (definitely check out Taco Mac, just as good as I remember it), and not too far from downtown which is why we came down- to enjoy the national championship game. Go Buckeyes!!"

"The only problem i had was i prepaid online. They wanted to hold 110 on my card. We were not told about the hold. I understand it but i wasnt prepared due yo my check being deposited the next day. So they locked our room doors 1 hour after we arrived and had gone to get food. If i had not had a credit card we would have been in a bad situation. It should be told up front. I will look for a different place to stay next time. "

"This is a well maintained property and our room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good and included waffles, eggs, bacon, & potatoes as well as cooked oatmeal! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back. "

"Came to the area on a short family vacation. Great location for the shops of Elijay, the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Amicalola State Park. Had a very late check in and the person at the desk was very friendly. Very clean room. Hot breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend this motel. "
