"Le Hameau Albert 1er is a wonderful world of its own in the middle of the beautiful town of Chamonix. It is quiet and scenic surrounded by mountains. As we pulled in we didn’t know what to expect but it is charm filled and historic. Moments from the town and train station it is the heart of it all and yet a magical world unto itself. "I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. We were looked after extremely well, and the room, facilities, and pastry deliveries were all first class. Highly recommended!"
