"This cabin is great. It’s a very short drive to downtown Nevada city, maybe 10 min. It’s super cozy and the hot tub is fantastic. Very quiet and private. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace. There’s plenty of towels and extra sheets if needed. Yes, there’s bad cell service and the WiFi isn’t great but they definitely let you know that ahead of time. We were more than fine with that. The owner communication is great. I highly recommend!"

"This property was perfect for our family Christmas. Beautiful all around. The home was cozy and roomy at the same time. Well decorated and everything we needed was there. Plenty of rooms for everyone and the game room was a big hit! Would love to stay here again in the summer."

"We came to Nevada City to consider relocating and wanted to spend time in a neighborhood and found the property in a lovely location although a few minutes from the commercial district which we decided was a good thing. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating which made us feel welcome and want to return to the home again."

"Very clean, plenty of space. We did not venture upstairs so can’t comment on that, but everything was as described. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived, and most of the wood pieces were large, so chopping wood in the dark was not in our plans. Perhaps the cleaner could have turned on the kitchen area heater for a bit before guests arrive. As soon as we unpacked and got a fire going, we sat down to watch the projection tv, and discovered that none of the living room outlets were working....

"We rented the house as two of our daughters live in the area making get together very easy. Our third daughter was visiting from Texas and also wanted to visit with her best friend, so the size and location were perfect.Many deer first thing in the morning and then in the afternoon we were entertained by a rafter of turkeys. The view was very nice and you were just far enough away from towns and traffic. Very relaxing."

"There was nine of us staying here. All of us was comfortable and loved this house. Catherine was wonderful to work with. She responded quickly to any texts or phone calls. This victorian home is so beautiful and well taken care of. We had some family over that live in Grass Valley and the man cave came in handy. I highly recommend this home. "The property is very spacious, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Kitchen is wellequipped. Game room is also fun for kids. Host is very responsive. The extra room by the basement can have additional carpet and heating during winters. We had a fun stay!"
