"4.5 stars! My BFF and I had a wonderful time here and now I want to bring my husband. The lobby and shared communal space is cute, clean, and inviting, plus decked out for the holidays in a tasteful and tidy way. Even a Santa Claus statue graced the shared patio. The staff are friendly and professional. The only things whereI thought there was room for improvement were: 1) I wish there was softer beds and fuller pillows (though when we checked out they said we could’ve asked for a padded mattress cover), 2) A normal size table would be nice in our room too since we had a bar height counter with stools under the tv and a small side table by the lounge chairs by the window, and 3) maybe not put the coat hooks right above the wall heater. My coat was toasty warm after a few minutes of hanging there and had we not needed to leave our room, who knows what kind of disaster may have happened. I hadn’t even noticed the wall heater until I put my coat on and it was warm. Stunning view of the beach, ocean, and sunset! From room 314."

"This was our second trip to the Astoria Riverwalk Inn. We enjoyed both stays because it's gotta nice view of the Marina, the Columbia River, and the big ships coming in and out from the Pacific. The rooms are dated, but functional. Astoria is small so you are close to everything if you drive. I would normally ding a place for not remodeling when it's past due, the price is very reasonable for what you get... especially during the off season. Being on the river walk is a bonus. Enjoy!"

"My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for the first time. We decided to celebrate the New Year here. Room 307. Overall, we really liked it, especially the fact that the New Year tree was up until January 2. We were able to take family photos with the main symbol of the New Year, like in the country where we come from. The room was very clean. We had a bedroom with two queen size beds and a balcony. The beds had nice cotton linen, the blanket also had a cotton cover. The mattresses were very soft, we didn’t want to wake up so early for breakfast, which was included in the price of the stay. But we woke up, because we really love breakfast at the hotel. And in my opinion, both breakfasts were very tasty. My daughter enjoyed the waffles, and I enjoyed the bacon, omelet and hunter sausages, I also liked the yogurt. Our room was also cleaned by the maid Lupita. Upon request, they can freshen up your room. They helped us shoot the beds, because the American system of duvet covers still drives me crazy. They also changed our towels and refreshed the urns. We noticed only a few shortcomings. The door to the balcony sagged, it was uncomfortable to open, by the way, the balcony had a view of the city.
