"I liked the location and the staff were very obliging. The unit was clean and comfortable but the whole property needed an uplift. The fountain in the front was surrounded by a weedy garden and it is supposed to be the frontispiece of the property. The unit needed a refit to make it more up to date."

"Great stay, would book again. Communication with the Motel, prior to stay, was excellent I enquired about a very late check-in, manager gave me a number to ring when we got there. Turned out didn't need to, but really appreciated the manager being so great - no issue to check in late, took heaps of stress off. When we got there manager took me to room and gave me a run down on everything, including how to work the tv. Can't remember the last time that happened - again really appreciated...

"We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."
